February 2005 Email Update

Dear Calvary Chapel Ahwatukee:

One of the biggest blessings of walking with God is seeing His hand even in the smallest details.  It is true that He loves me and cares for me. (I just don't believe it sometimes).

Here is one piece of evidence of His loving care.

Back in December, I met John & Heidi at a US consulate party.  They've been in Hermosillo for one month and looking for a church.  My friends Chris & Barbara introduced me to them as the "person" who would know where a Christian church might be in Hermosillo.  I invited John & Heidi to our Calvary Chapel here.  They have come two times now.  Pray for them as they consider making my church here as their home church while they are on a government assignment in Hermosillo.

Today, John and Heidi gave me moving boxes and packing paper as I am in the process of moving to Cuernavaca (60 miles South of Mexico city) for a 3-month intensive Spanish course.   As I was packing this evening, it dawned on me... "God even thought of the packing paper that I will need...."  Isn't He great?  He does not miss any detail.

Praise the Lord for giving me the privilege to introduce John & Heidi to the Calvary Chapel here.

Praise God for using John & Heidi to bless me with moving boxes and packing paper.
